Overview

ESB is developing a new renewable energy project, Drombeg Solar Farm, located north of Listowel, Co. Kerry. It is being developed by Tullamore Solar Farm Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of ESB. The project is currently in construction. The project has received full planning permission to generate 50MW of clean electricity that will have enough capacity to power up to 12,500 homes.

As part of this project, we are committed to engaging closely with the local communities surrounding the site to ensure the successful delivery of Drombeg Solar Farm in 2025.

Drombeg Solar Farm is located near the townlands of Ballydonohue, Glouria, Coolard, Knockenagh South, Carhoonaknock East, Coolkeragh and Tullamore, approximately 5km north of Listowel, Co. Kerry
